World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enchantments of items.

They also offer rewards and upgrades. They are available through the Blacksmith.

The upgrade button can be found on any item. Each recycled item adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapons

When a weapon gets upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus, as well as an adjustment factor that affects other stats. You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinket by a tiny amount.
