1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.

When I tried the S1, it was able to locate the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or rugs.

The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming blocked. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one area to another without reversing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than other models However, it tends to leave a wide distance over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't remove cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also features an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. The K10 Plus also has the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as often. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device.
