The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to select if you're looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it some of the best navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery midway through a clean.

It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one sweep. Its suction motor of 8,000pa is quick at picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, is not as effective. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high velocity and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a little more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into difficult corners or on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to collect larger objects such as books and toys that have been damaged.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tested. It doesn't produce as loud of a sound while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping and is separate from the vacuum. It is easy to set up, and it works well. However should you purchase this vacuum solely to mop, you will need to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners looking to purchase an extremely efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device comes with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map your home and locate furniture and other obstacles. It can then use this information to clean effectively and effectively. This results in an efficient, consistent clean which is also relatively quick.

The robot is divided into two modules that include a dry bin as well as a water tank that can be easily snapped in and out and a mopping unit that has microfiber pads. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping, but it does mean that you don't have to worry about changing out disposable bags or refilling the tank with water.

Our testers found that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming as well as mopping. The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. It does however, have certain unique features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is notable for its huge dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin and the 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base comes with a couple of buttons for control that let you manually start cleaning tasks and then recall the robot vacuums uk or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock, which is a nice feature for parents who are worried about children playing with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums uses its camera to detect obstacles and furniture in its path. It will steer clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it is entangled in a hazard like a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you manually untangle it. This is a rare event however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during cleaning. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses, which can lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome appearance in a market that is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
